This page explains how Get Otii Ltd handles personal data when you visit this website (otii.co.uk) and when you use the Otii platform.

What we collect on this website

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referrer.
• Cookies (only if you accept them via our banner) — see the Cookie Policy.
• The contents of any email you send to hello@get-otii.com.

What the platform collects

Once you're a customer using the Otii platform, we additionally process data needed to operate the service:

• Contact details and login credentials (passwords are hashed; never stored in plain text).
• Employment and compliance records you upload as part of your setting's operation.
• Usage analytics within the application.
• AI interaction logs (retained for up to 30 days for quality and abuse-prevention purposes).

Children's data

We do not collect children's data directly. When a setting uploads child-related records to Otii, the setting acts as Data Controller and Get Otii Ltd acts as Data Processor under contract.

What we don't do

• We don't sell personal data.
• We don't run advertising or retargeting cookies.
• We don't make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Where your data lives

Customer data is held inside the EU/UK. Where we use sub-processors located outside the UK (for payments, email, AI processing, etc.) those transfers are governed by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses. We can provide the current sub-processor list on request — email privacy@get-otii.com.

Lawful bases

We rely on UK GDPR Article 6 lawful bases: contract performance (to deliver the service), legitimate interests (to keep the service running and secure), and consent (for analytics cookies and marketing emails, where you opt in).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@get-otii.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal obligations. Customer records are deleted on request or within a reasonable period after a subscription ends. AI interaction logs are kept for up to 30 days.
