Questions people ask
What does onboarding online support mean?
Four guided calls online, with a real human, are included for every setting.
If you'd like in-person training at your setting, that's available for a set-up fee.
We don't have time for another system.
Fair. Our customers experience that their time investment Is in getting set up. After that having Otii saves them time, mostly because nobody's hunting for things any more.
Our folders work fine.
They might.
Who else knows where everything is? If the answer is "me", that's what we'd like to fix.
We don't want staff looking at tablets.
Completely understandable. Nobody wants a screen dominating the room.
A paper form means finding the sheet, writing it up and filing it somewhere. In Otii it's a quick tap, dated and done, and then the tablet goes down and the attention goes back to the children.
Will it get us a better grade?
We can't promise that. Any tool that does need very careful consideration.
Otii shows your practice clearly against the evaluation areas. It is all evidenced. So the conversation with the inspector is about what you actually do.
We're nervous about AI.
Otii isn't an AI tool. It uses AI to support some of the work, and a person always decides.
It is very carefully designed to never makes a judgement about a child or a member of staff.
Do you charge per user?
No. Every member of your team can use Otii.
Are there add-ons?
Not at the moment.
There has been some overwhelming demand from customers some features that we never thought we'd build. They've asked because they know that we really understand operating in the early years sector.
Why don't you list group prices?
Because every group is different.
Tell us how many settings you have and how you run them, and we'll match you to a price tier.
Bottom line is, it's actually a reduction on the one setting rate for your additional nurseries.

Our SOS scheme - Save Our Settings
We love early years, we know it can be a challenging place to be. With the fortunes of a setting being dependent on many factors, some of which are out of your control. Otii's SOS scheme is our way of giving some direct support to settings and providers that would really benefit from how features but can't afford to join us.
It's not a lesser offering. If approved, you still get Otii, the same features, support and updates as everyone else.
We offer a set number of SOS places each quarter; when they're full, you join the waiting list in the order applications arrive. And there isn't a standard price, each applicant is assessed for their need and the level of our support is limited by the value of the SOS scheme fund.
1 - Apply to us
Just a short form, some basic info and we'll get back to you.
2 - We confirm your SOS status
Our SOS committee does a little research on every application to make sure the limited fund is being correctly applied.
3 - Your SOS application is decided
Our SOS committee makes a decision, and you'll be informed of next steps.
4 - Getting started SOS
You'll join a group onboarding session. Where you'll be supported in setting up Otii alongside other SOS scheme members.
4 - SOS scheme review
At month nine we check you still qualify. If not, you get at least 60 days' notice of the standard price.
Not sure which fits?
Book a demo and we'll talk it through.
