Ofsted Inspection mode

The Ofsted inspector is here. You press one button, and Otii changes mode to bring what is critical to know right now to your fingertips. Whether it's an announced or an unannounced inspection, we've got you.

One switch,
and your setting is ready

When the call comes, one switch puts your setting into Ofsted inspection mode and brings what you need to know right now to your fingertips.

Announced or unannounced, it works the same way. You can also run a mock inspection whenever you like, so the first time your team goes through it isn’t the real one.

Guided through it, one stage at a time

Otii takes your team through the inspection in order, so nobody has to remember what comes next.

  • Stage by stage - Otii guides the team through the inspection one stage at a time.
  • Always know what’s next - The current stage is clear at every point.
  • Calmer on the day - Less to carry in your head.

Evidence pulled together, and the record kept

Otii builds an evidence pack from work your team has already done, then keeps the inspection in your history.

  • Evidence pack - Built from work the team has already done, not from scratch.
  • Your history - Each inspection kept alongside the ones before.
  • What’s coming up - A schedule of upcoming inspections.

When there’s no time to prepare

No warning, no time, and still ready to answer

If an inspector arrives without notice, you shouldn’t have to gather anything. Inspection mode puts your documents, staff files and safeguarding records in one view, so you can find what you’re asked for and hand it over calmly.

Otii also pulls up your feedback log, everything you’ve logged in Otii, so you can see what the inspector might be there for and prepare before you walk in.
